Role in the project

The Research Group "Mineralogia Aplicada i Geoquímica de Fluids" (MAG) is involved to do the following activities:

• hydrogeochemical assessment (including multi-isotopic analysis), geochemical modeling and water bodies quality monitoring at target areas (WP1)
• to support the experimentation of soil amendments to develop mitigation techniques for F contamination in agriculture and livestock systems (WP2)
• geochemical modeling to support the design of lab scale experiments and foresee the up-scaling of the defluoridation technologies to the field (WP3)
• dissemination of scientific results to public and stakeholders (WP5)
• support to the coordination and management activities (WP6)
