Role in the project

The Institute of Biological Enviromental and Rural Sciences is involved in the following tasks:

• Experiments on fluoride mitigation measures in livestock systems: drawing on significant expertise developed in both national and EU projects investigating rumen fermentation in order to develop novel approaches to decrease fluoride absorption in ruminants (Task 2.3) WP2
• contribute to Data collection on cropping, livestock and soil systems where they will assist in the collation and integration of the various datasets (Task 2.1) WP2
• ensure capacity building and a widespread and successful dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge being acquired within the Project at different levels, from local to international researchers and end-users (Task 6.3) WP6
• develop in cooperation with other partners the technical dissemination strategy and tools and deployment of dissemination campaign in order to improving local and scientific knowledge (Task 6.1, 6.3) WP6
• support the deployment of the scientific dissemination also through co-authoring scientific papers in international peer-review journals (Task 6.2) WP6
